Here are few shots
of a part of America
that few see: Gillham, Arkansas.
The porch is not on
yet so it still looks a little plain.
The square in the foreground
is the base of a fireplace in a house that was here previously.
It is rumored that it burned down many years ago.
Here is the little
'barn' and the Jaguar with the party house behind it in a cream
color.
This is the view looking
out the front of the house to the road.
There is a car every hour or so.
Here is the view down
to the party house with the shed in front for grinding ice cream
and the view down to Mom's house.
The dogs. That's floppy
(named for his floppy ear and his way of just flopping down when
he was a pup) and his Mom, Barny in the back (named for the barn,
shown in a previous picure, under which she had her litter, including
Floppy).
Mom's house.
Now, here's Mom and
our latest 'find', Missy. I heard a large commotion with lots
of barking behind my house a couple of nights ago and the next
morning found this little cutey up a tree. I called the fire department
to help get her down but by the time they got here, she was almost
all the way down.
Mom loves to decorate
for Christmas!

This took a lot
of creativity and lots of my computer file backup tapes!
